Multiple pastels collide for this men's edition.

“Glacier Blue” Crashes Onto The Air Jordan 1 Low SE

Have we reached the point where it’s easier to reach for a pair of the Air Jordan 1 Low than its original high counterpart? Shifting footwear trends have always meant that even the most revered silhouettes can experience down years, but the shorter cut of the AJ1 overtaking its parent model is still hard to wrap our heads around. Nonetheless, if your personal style is currently closer aligned with the AJ1 Low, you’re in luck — the Jumpman’s Spring/Summer offerings have included a deluge of new looks, including the Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Glacier Blue” featured here.

As with many looks for the Jordan 1 and the enterprise that sprung from it, the color-blocking in use with this edition isn’t anything totally transformative. White leather paces the base, while sprightlier “Glacier Blue” handles things one layer above. What’s particularly notable about this pair is the use of soft pastel accenting, seen on the default “Guava Ice” lace option but also reflected with platinum embroidery on the tongue, but also the subtle “Sea Glass” outsole.

As a closing detail, note that this pair does indeed sport the “SE” subtitle, typically an indication of some sort of elevated touch to set a pair above mainline siblings. For this edition, none of the aforementioned aspects would carry that alone, likely leaving the tumbled leather that coats this release as its main point of “special edition” intrigue. Expect the Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Glacier Blue” to hit shelves sometime in the coming weeks, retailing for $125 in men’s sizing.
