The Noir Kei Ninomiya Reebok Instapump Fury Collab Is Finally Available

Sneaker fans at large are undoubtedly familiar with the influence of Comme des Garçons on our world and the fashion industry as a whole, but enough credit isn’t given for they and founder Rei Kawakubo’s incubation of talent. The likes of Tao Kurihara, Junya Wantanabe, and Rei Kawakubo have blossomed under that tutelage, with the latter taking over Fashion Week cycles with his latest collection, including a sprawling link-up with Reebok. Following multiple previews, some of the styles from that capsule have surfaced, as the Noir Kei Ninomiya Reebok Flying Pearl Pump Fury and Dress Pump Fury cropping up on global sites now.

Emerging as an arm of Reebok’s experimental LTD label (Learn/Test/Design), the models featured here are actually seen for the first time with this public release, breaking from what was on the runway in those aformentioned shows. Regardless, it’s another application of the streetwear meets high fashion theming rampant across the industry, but still Noir Kei Ninoyima’s take on the motif stands apart.

For the Dress Pump Fury in particular, the designer flips the sectioned composition to its fullest advantage, transforming the front half of the outsole into traditional formalwear while allowing the usual athletic hardware to remain unchanged in the rear. Across both that model and the platformed Flying Pearl Pump Fury, bejeweled aesthetics are very much in focus, dotting the upper with glittering stones. Finally, in kind with what we’ve come to expect from CDG and the designers it influences, all-over palettes are the choice for either model, fully embracing fiery red and jet black.

The Noir Kei Ninomiya Reebok Flying Pearl Pump Fury and Dress Pump Fury are available now via Dover Street Market London, retailing for £380 and £350, respectively. As mentioned above, both silhouettes are available in all-red and all-black in men’s sizing. Follow THIS LINK to grab yours.
