“Wild Grape” Crashes On The Nike Air Max Plus

Another summery edition.

“Wild Grape” Crashes On The Nike Air Max Plus

The Nike Air Max Plus is a shoe you can feasibly bring into any season on account of its hardened materials and thick sole, but unquestionably it’s most fit for the summer. Clearly those in Beaverton agree with that conclusion, as our archives have been filled out by new looks for the Tn, now culminating with the Nike Air Max Plus “Wild Grape.”

This almost clocks in as an “inverse” of the iconic “Voltage Purple,” obviously spotlighting pure white anchoring via the TPU waves and ballistic mesh mudguard. While most of the real estate is taken up by that snowy shade and the titular “Wild Grape,” the theory of a reverse colorway is strengthened by a pop of orange in the rearmost Air bubble. Even if it’s not consciously crafted with that OG in mind, the sprightly shades that dominate here makes these a perfect fit for the Summer season as mesh footwear of its class hit the streets anew.

Be ready for the Nike Air Max Plus “Persian Violet” hitting Nike.com in the short term future, carrying a $180 retail price in men’s sizing. Keep our Sneaker Release Dates page within reach to ensure you don’t miss when this pair does materialize.
