Matt Varga If you’ve adopted the tech runner aesthetic, there are countless models competing for your attention at any given moment. Nike, to their credit, struck out into a rather unexplored section of that category, bringing a “retro” runner into the future with the advent of the Pegasus Wave.
Just to get you up to speed, two previous editions we’ve covered in the month and change leading up to this pair no doubt paved the way for it, utilizing candy accent shades on the sole and scattered additional hits while leaving the upper in more traditional coloring. For this colorway specifically, the only exception is a “Barely Volt” underlay panel that weaves across the medial and lateral sides, splitting the difference between the slime “Green Strike” and off-white shades that handle the rest of the shoe.
