HommeGirls And OTW By Vans Reunite With Oversized Checkerboard Patterns

After debuting their partnership last October with the Sk8-Mid with the Knu-style stripe, HommeGirls and OTW by Vans look to disrupt the classics once again with the Authentic and an exaggerated pattern of checkerboards.

The indy magazine inspired by menswear and ever-edgy tomboy trend, HommeGirls has garnered a respected following for their tasteful curation. Over the course of six years, they’ve grown from a zine to a full-fledged brand; this partnership with Vans only allows their vision to reach a broader audience that has always been keen on the skate icon’s sporty/casual look.

The Authentic 44 reimagined by HommeGirls features the trademark pattern, but with the square blocks enlarged alongside their own brand logo. Two colorways of White/Blue and Olive/White have been revealed with a workwear-meets-cotton poplin effect, a tried-and-true reflection of the Hg brand. Alongside the footwear is a strong ready-to-wear collection that includes a workwear jacket, workwear pants, a cropped tee, fitted shirt, boxers and socks.

A launch for the HommeGirls x OTW by Vans collection is scheduled for April 25th, 2025 on OTW by Vans. The footwear retails at $130 a piece, while the apparel collection ranges from $18-200.
