Sneaker News The NBA Playoffs have always been a hot spotlight to debut new and upcoming basketball footwear to the millions of eyes who tune in. Stephen Curry, one of the most-watched players this postseason, just stole the show by debuting his latest shoe, the Curry Brand Series 7.
According to Nick Depaula, the Series 7 is derived by running super-shoes and features a new high-tech foam and spring plate setup. Given Curry’s non-stop movement and peak cardio capability, the running inspiration makes sense.
On a design standpoint, it is easily the most daring model yet in Stephen’s 12-model run with Under Armour/Curry Brand. It features a dynamic midsole design with jagged fore-foot moldings and a rear that juts outwards to support Curry’s high-speed movements around the hardwood.
