Sneaker News Updated May 8th, 2025: A new green colorway of the UnheardOf x adidas Rivalry Lo “Grandma’s Couch 2” has emerged via @sneakyleakpod, likely a Friends & Family style. The pink colorway is scheduled to release May 10th, 2025 exclusively through UnheardOf.

Unheardof circles the block with the adidas Rivalry Lo for the upcoming Mother’s Day occasion, taking the opportunity to remember his grandmother Naomi Phillips who stole the hearts of the sneaker community two years ago.
The saga began in 2023 with a colorful tribute to grandma’s couches across the globe, decorated with floral tapestries and packaged inside custom shoeboxes. For 2025, Unheardof’s founder Phil Lipschutz applies a soft palette of pink and cream with delicate flowers adorning the toe-box and mid-foot panel beneath the green and fuchsia pink stripes.
With his grandmother now passed, Lipschutz treats the shoes like a love letter to grandma; “Dear Naomi” is scribed onto the forefoot, while “Love Always and Forever” is featured on the heel. Wrapping up this collaboration is a custom shoebox inspired by the beauty products he used to gift her, while the exterior features a watercolor painting done by Naomi’s husband.
This heartfelt collaboration is set to launch on May 10th, 2025 exclusive at Unheardof in-store and online for $185.
