The Legend Of The Jordan Trunner LX Continues In 2025

Upon its formation in 1998, Jordan Brand had its sights set on branching out to other realms. The Jumpman eventually became synonymous with excellence in sports as the brand enlisted some of the most important athletes of the 2000s such as boxing dynamo Roy Jones Jr., who was tapped to be the face of the Trunner LX, an all-purpose athletic shoe that served as their entry into training.

With a woven mid-foot panel inspired by the Air Jordan 15, exterior padding at the toe, and a unique lock-down system via the mid-foot and heel straps, the Trunner LX was a true 2000s-and-beyond design that was as futuristic as it was comfortable. It’s this specific style of design that has been in tune with the younger generation today as the technical element of footwear has continued to rise in demand.

While we’ve yet to see any OG colorways emerge as part of the 2025 product line-up, we’ve been discovering some new styles for modern-day stores such is this near all-black take that sees grey/silver hits scattered on the upper. Full release information has yet to be divulged, but a drop is expected this Summer/Fall season.
