The adidas Predator Megaride Joins The Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Crew

As the Formula 1 world convenes for the Miami Grand Prix this weekend, Mercedes and adidas are continuing their budding partnership with another South Beach-esque sneaker. From the same school as a recently-covered adidas Superstar, the adidas Predator Megaride has emerged in a flashy hot pink colorway of its own.

The totality of the sneaker comes drenched in hot pink; the only real divergence comes via the stripes and sock liner. For branding, silver Mercedes-AMG branding appears on the long tongue, heel, and insoles.

The adidas Predator Megaride takes inspiration from the Predator Absolute, a soccer cleat that cut its teeth on the pitch in 2006. It’s tailored for both the soccer shoe and Y2K trends, complete with sporty, quilted stitching and quirky Megaride cushioning at the heel. The model was included in the most recent KITH x adidas Football collection and is also available in a handful of GR colorways.

The Mercedes adidas Predator Megaride ($190) is currently loaded onto the adidas app and is releasing via the drop format. Head to the app to enter the queue.
