Closing out the month of May.

Official Images Of The Air Jordan 1 “Varsity Red”

There was a time when a black, red, and white Air Jordan 1 was unable to stay on shelves. That’s not the case anymore for the Retro High OG as the brand has yet to rebound from the diminished levels of consumer interest due to over-saturation and relatively “mid” colorway concepts. Still, the Jumpman is pushing forward with the high-top model, introducing a cracked leather aesthetic on this Air Jordan 1 “Varsity Red”.

Currently penciled in for a May 31st, 2025 launch date, these “Varsity Red” Jordan 1s follow a once-iconic color-blocking formula. The tone-toe style, seen in smash hits like the Shattered Backboards, Bred Toes, and so on, is repurposed on this women’s exclusive release, differentiating from other quintessential Air Jordan color schemes with the metallic, cracked leather exterior. This elevated take appears on the toe-box heel, and ankle collar, while the Wings logo forgoes the standard debossing in favor of a hardware piece. Leather-wrapped hangtags boasting the iconic Nike Air are also attached.

Again, these Jordans are dropping on May 31st, 2025 in women’s sizing only for $180. PS ($85) and TD ($70)sizes are also confirmed to launch alongside.

In other Jumpman updates for May, here’s the latest on the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement”, which just appeared in official brand images. You can find all of this month’s drops on our Jordan Release Dates page.
