The collaborative design team stays modest with their latest.

Brain Dead And Oakley Factory Team Presents Earthier Tones For SS25

Could there have been a more fitting partner for Oakley to revive their archival footwear division than Brain Dead? Carrying the same irreverent, subversive touch that the brand’s 90s output did, the California brand’s Oakley Factory Team just passed the three year mark, steadily delivering capsules and collections in the time since.

For their latest, Spring/Summer 2025, the sprawling depth of previous iterations is perhaps parsed down a tad, honing in on just four colorways on two models. First up is the Flesh Sandal, one of the lasting designs from the turn of the century and a silhouette that’s become the most familiar face in Oakley Factory Team’s register. It’s a heavy focus on the natural, frontlined on the woody olive pair with contrasting red pull-tabs and a camo pattern make-up, bolstered by a stripe of pine green suede enveloping its upper. For the more reserved wearer, you’ll instead look to a “Triple Graphite” pair that rounds out the Flesh’s new looks.

Closing out the collection as a whole is a new outfit for the Edge Boot, an iteration on the Chop Saw sole unit with an injection of bonafide hiking hardware up top.The earthy lean injects onto this outdoory silhouette as well, blending up a beige/brown/moss colorway fit for warm weather excursions.

The Brain Dead Oakley Factory Team Spring/Summer 2025 collection is available now via Oakley and Brain Dead in-store and online locations, with select partnering stockists also receiving pairs. Follow THIS LINK to land directly on Brain Dead’s site to pick up yours.
