This Nike Air Force 1 Low GS Teaches You How To Build A Diaroma

Nike’s commitment to the younger generation and their penchant to pin their most expressive colorways on kids’ shoes are coming together once again.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low, clad in a “Sanddrift/Safety Orange/Phantom” palette, reverses the typical way of doing business by seemingly taking cues from its packaging. Jump to the end of the gallery below to see how Nike places illustrative instructions on how to transform the shoe box after use, taught in part by a doodled Swoosh character detailing all the materials you’ll need.

Return to the actual shoe itself to see how this “DIY” theme animates the colorway: perforated beige leather evokes a classic classroom cork board, the laces echo a tape measure, and a studded Swoosh evokes the visible joinery at the heart of so many at home projects. One final flourish comes with a hastily sketched Nike logo on the heel, celebrating how a “work in progress” can almost be as beautiful as the final thing.

Though not its peers aren’t included in this piece, this “DIY / Diaroma” Nike Air Force 1 Low seems to be one of a few kids’ specific shoes bearing similar colorways and concepts. Indications of a paired Nike Air Max Dn and Nike Court Borough Recraft are circulating. Nonetheless, if this particular shoe has caught your eye, check for your size via aftermarket platforms like Kicks Crew using the “Where To Buy” links ahead. Otherwise, stay tuned for a wide Nike launch in the near future, clocking in at $100 in grade school sizing.
