The Nike Air Max 95 is in the midst of one of the most well-rounded milestone years we’ve seen in recent memory. Collaborations, retro releases, and fresh “big bubble” colorways have made for an already memorable 30th anniversary run, with additional standouts like the Nike SB Air Max 95 waiting in the wings. A limited-edition collab by South Korean brand Worksout is next up in late May, but looking a bit further ahead, we’re learning that the much-anticipated “Bright Mandarin” Air Max 95 is set to release June 6th.
Last seen in 2011, the “Bright Mandarin” 95s follow a tried-and-true blueprint with grey gradient sidewalls and tasteful pops of color on the eyelets, Air cushioning, and tongue/Swoosh logos. Differing slightly from pairs like the “Neon” and “Pink Foam,” the Swoosh logos incorporate a black border for more definition. The 2025 retro features all the same hallmarks as the 2011 edition, only with OG-inspired “big bubble” Air units underfoot. For Air Max purists, this is likely the second-most coveted AM95 of the year (so far) behind the “Neon” retro from April.
