The Nike Air Tech Challenge II is adding another original colorway to its under-the-radar retro run. While we’re still waiting on the “Stone Blue” aka “Tart” colorway to hit shelves, we’re learning that the beloved “Pixel Court” is slated to return as part of Nike’s Fall 2025 catalog.
Last seen in 2014, the “Pixel Court” Air Tech Challenge II stands out with distinctive red cubes within the mudguard windows. Just like all other modern releases, pre-aged treatments are applied to the midsole and lower eyestay. The model’s intricately-layered base cleans up in white leather, while the Swoosh, inner tongue, and heel “Nike Air” text all come in blue.

Originally released in 1989, the Air Tech Challenge II is a retro tennis sneaker designed by Tinker Hatfield for Nike athlete Andre Agassi, easily one of the biggest tennis stars of the 1990s. Nike kicked off a modern retro run by bringing back the OG “Hot Lava” colorway in August of 2024, but we’ve only gotten one other retro – the “Racer Pink” – since then. While the “Hot Lava” was met with considerable demand, particularly from the OG sneakerhead crowd, the “Racer Pink” can currently be found on sale.
The Nike Air Tech Challenge II “Pixel Court” is slated to return Fall 2025, retailing for $150 in men’s sizing. See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse other upcoming Nikes.
