Especially if you subscribe to a “competition drives innovation” mindset, the dawn of All Elite Wrestling has been a boon for the genre. On top of fostering superstars that’d flourish outside of their walls like Cody Rhodes, the brand boasts a stable of in-house talent that continue to define the sport. Swerve Strickland has a claim to being among the best of their current generation, making him a suitable choice to continue the AEW x Reebok legacy on the Answer 3.

Though Swerve has been working on his own independent sneaker, the company line wins out in this particular case. Notably, Strickland already boosted efforts the last time Reebok and AEW teamed up, showing support for Brodie Lee’s Classic Leather released in 2024. Strickland’s sequel embraces the stealthy yet gilded trademark wardrobe he sported in the ring on his way to a championship, with additional flamboyant flourishes like embossed leopard print throughout the upper and a greyscale camo sock-liner. To truly drive home Strickland’s influence, his “STRICK” moniker appears on the midsole, with an additional profile shot tucked in towards the rear of the upper.

The Swerve Strickland x Reebok Answer 3 is available now via Champs, although interestingly the shoe shows on their release calendar for May 28th. Check our “Where To Buy” link to see if early pairs are still available — the shoe clocks in at $160. Following in the footsteps of Brody Lee’s pair, this is expected to be a Champs exclusive.
