Andrew Rizzo adidas Originals is bringing back a gem from its “Island Series” for Summer 2025. The adidas Trinidad & Tobago, last seen in 2015, is set to return in the same orange and black colorway released a decade ago.
The “Island Series” is exactly what it sounds like; an offshoot of adidas’ more prominent “City Series” inspired by islands as opposed to metropolitan locales. Originally released throughout the 70s and 80s, adidas revived the “Island Series” with a six-pair lineup in 2015. Today, the adidas Bermuda and adidas Samoa are the only member of the series that get somewhat consistently released. All other models, including the adidas Cancun, Jamaica, and Hawaii to name a few, are more elusive by comparison.
Images of the upcoming Trinidad & Tobago posted by Size? reveal the exact same design seen in 2015, only with a new tongue tag featuring gold branding. The model closely borders the adidas Tobacco with an all-suede upper, slim gum sole, and serrated edges on the stripes/eyelets.
