Sneaker News Grey and pink have long since been an attractive color-combo on the 95; from its earliest aughts to the mid-2000s to Corteiz’s own interpretation, the two shades just seem to work in harmony.
The Air Max 95 OG movement is in full effect after Nike launched a relatively small batch of the original Neons back in April. Alongside the inline colorways, collaborations have also boasted the restored Air units like Worksout’s mega-limited drop in late May; this proves that the Swoosh has officially moved on from the previous units for good.
Next up for the “GR” line-up is this soft colorway in a pleasant Vast Grey upper in a near-monochromatic form. From the mesh covering to the midsole, Nike opts for a concrete lifestyle look with subtle switches to Platinum Tint and Pure Platintum, contrasted heavily by the punch of a Hyper Pink on the multi-chambered Air unit, the exposed eyelet loops, and the mini-Swoosh at the heel. It appears once more on the bottoms, almost like the inner flesh exposed beneath the skin.
