The Nike Shox R4 Sports Sunny “Light Citron” Pistons

A pop of color for the inescapable Y2K titan.

The Nike Shox R4 Sports Sunny “Light Citron” Pistons

While it still has a long way to go before it’s at Dunk or Air Force 1 levels, there’s been no shortage of Nike Shox colorways to hit the ‘net in 2025. That sheer quantity has allowed us to trace the model’s design choices in real time, and two major ones are colliding with the Nike Shox R4 “Light Citron.”

To spell it out more clearly, this colorway features the collision of gradient uppers and contrast cushioning, the former seen with the “Cherry Blossom” Shox R4 and the latter spotted easiest with a wave of green-reliant colorways. For the pair at hand, the synthetic upper construction takes to almost an air-brushed arrangement, taken from light grey at the front to a darker counterpart at the heel. Adding some stark contrast is the “Bright Citron” notes that not only overtake the entire sole, but also makes its presence felt with the embroidered Swoosh at the midfoot.

As a true GR product, the Nike Shox R4 “Light Citron” should hit Nike.com in the coming weeks without much warning. Be ready for a $150 retail price upon arrival — keep watch over this pair and other upcoming Swoosh drops via our Sneaker Release Dates page.
