The Nike Dunk Low Takes To Velvety “Ironstone”

A seasonal embrace with some unexpected materials.

The Nike Dunk Low Takes To Velvety “Ironstone”

The emergence of the literal “Panda” Dunk series has kicked up discourse anew: is it possible that the meta references could mean Nike’s cash cow is past a point of full saturation? Perhaps it is, and as a result its secondary market appeal isn’t there in the way it was at the start of the decade, but you’d be hard pressed to find a model that easier slips into rotations of any shape and size.

As the consumer calendar threatens a switch from Summer to Fall, the Nike Dunk Low is issuing its own switch-up, an all-over coating of “Ironstone” brown. Though the leather base looks particularly shiny in this rich arrangement, it’s actually the overlays where the biggest shift occurs, slipping into nylon rather than their traditional materials. Taken as a whole, it’s a colorway that brings glossy statement appeal despite the traditionally refined tones it makes heavy use of.

Look for the Nike Dunk Low “Ironstone” to hit Nike.com and partnering retail channels in the coming weeks as a part of the brand’s Fall 2025 offerings. Be ready for a $125 retail price in men’s sizing once landed.
