The New Balance 2002R Is Already Dressing For Fall In “Olive/Black”

The New Balance 2002R is still out in force on city streets, but it’s safe to say the model is no longer a priority for the Boston brand. Fresh formulations like the New Balance 2010 and upcoming 2000 look poised to play a big role in the NB catalog moving forward, meaning the 2002R might need to take a back seat in order to make space. For now, new colorways keep steadily surfacing.

Standing out as a solid option for when summer eventually comes to a close, this newly-uncovered pair features olive green suede and a matching mesh base. In maintaining a dark, autumnal theme, the underlays, lining, New Balance logos, and suede heel panel all appear in black. Underfoot, white/grey/black treatments land on the ABZORB sole unit.

These don’t have a firm release date, but pairs are expected to trickle out via newbalance.com and retailers shortly. Men’s sizes will be available for the model’s standard $145 shelf price; see official images below if you’re interested.

In other New Balance news, the Fresh Foam BB v3 is starting to surface in general release colorways.
