Nike Reworks The Air Max Sunder Upper With Ventilations

A new look for Fall 2025.

Nike Reworks The Air Max Sunder Upper With Ventilations

Nike has kept the Air Max Sunder true to its original form throughout its retro cycle. Beginning in 2024, the Sunder has retained the neoprene upper, with the Swoosh changing up colors and materials before Kids Of Immigrants kicked the door down with a radical new design.

While this upcoming Air Max Sunder SE doesn’t get drastic with the switch, it does change up the substance of the on-foot performance by adding some much-needed ventilations on the upper. Official images of this release reveal a closer shot at the small slits that appears hashed into the soft shell, while a miniature Swoosh ago is thrown in on both a practicality and branding move. The remaining of the shoe’s primary design touches, such as the armor-plated mudguard, remain consistent with the Sunder we all know.

A release date hasn’t been made official just yet, so stay tuned for updates as the MSRP of this model will likely be moved upward from the usual $180 to align with Nike’s near brand-wide price increases.
