88Rising Previews Bape Collaboration At Head In The Clouds Festival

88Rising has gone from an online curiosity to an earnest cultural entity. Part of that transfer comes down to their Head in the Clouds, their flagship live event showcasing their ever-growing talent roster in a festival package. As the label celebrates 10 years of operations, they’re looking to BAPE to ring in the occasion, teasing an upcoming collection on-site in Los Angeles.

Centered around two colorways of the Sta (blue and red) and one of the somewhat newly introduced Shark Sta, the collection is lit by pulling the Ape logo into amoeba-like shapes, closer resembling the titular “Clouds” in a seamless brand tie-in. On either Sta, the commemorative appeal is front and center, pinning a unique co-branded logo on the heel counter with the label’s upwards arrow next to a “10” icon. Finally, on the techy Shark Sta, you can catch further pieces of the 88 Rising Bape print, with the collective’s traditional dragon peering through at the toe.

Closing out the capsule, two Shark hoodies, a graphic tee, and track pants will release. At the time of this writing, release info for the 88Rising x Bape collection is unknown, but a Summer 2025 launch is expected. Catch in-person shots included below for a preview of what to expect.
