The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 Chews On “Wild Grape”

The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 retro effort has largely centered around spins off of its initial “Total Orange,” already checking off adjacent “Dusty Cactus,” “Varsity Maize,” “Playful Pink,” and “Celtics” green. Keeping the spirit alive is a new entrant, the Nike Air Max TL 2.5 “Wild Grape.”

Much the same as those aforementioned looks, the this pair begins with a familiar script of white mesh, black wavy overlays, and silver hits dotted around those features. Of course, the key distinction comes with the fourth shade in that pecking order, the “Wild Grape” accents on the sole and at the quarter, coloring that lines up suitably with the turn-of-the-century design language that the model continues to champion.
