Up next in its course of Fall 2025 deliveries is a “Cave Purple” Nike Shox R4, turning out the lights as it bucks the dominant shades seen elsewhere in retro footwear.
Indeed, rather than the dominant blend of greys and silvers we so frequently see in the tech runners and throwback basketball, here the Shox R4 pairs grape sidewalls with jet black anchoring around it, overtaking the collar, underfoot pistons, and a contrast panel at the toe. To ensure those start-of-the-century bonafides aren’t entirely lost, chrome accents sneak in on the jeweled branding hit on the tongue and in the linework on the heel, further adding some hi-visibility pop to an otherwise entirely understated colorway.
