Hiroshi Fujiwara Debuts The Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “UNC”

Do you still need any convincing that Hiroshi Fujiwara’s impression on the culture is still heavy to this day? Just recently, Supreme launched a collab with his foregone side-project GOODENOUGH, and looking forward, he’s got a hand in some upcoming Air Jordan 1 collaborations looped in with his close pal Chris Gibbs and Union Los Angeles. He’s clearly among the chosen ones in this world, because he just debuted a first look at the Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “UNC”.

his Air Jordan 1 features the original white and dark powder blue color combination that was created as a nod to Jordan’s time in North Carolina. That collegiate tenure remains a pivotal storytelling beacon for the Jumpman, with creative concepts like the Air Jordan 3 “Lucky Shorts” and the recently dropped “UNC Reimagined”.

Joining the “Chicago” (revealed by artist Julian Gaines) and “Royal” (revealed by OG Chase B), this Air Jordan 1 Hi’ 85 is the latest in leaked unreleased sample colorways of this true-to-OG re-issue. No word on a release just yet, but we expect all of these 1985 originals to eventually hit the market at some point in the future. More details to come on our Jordan Release Dates page.
