Andrew Rizzo The adidas Samba franchise has expanded exponentially since the model began its modern renaissance period, with collaborations, texture swaps, and other hardware changes coming fully into play for the Three Stripes. The Samba JP is a prime example; a heritage-inspired update featuring a series of soccer-inspired design cues.
As seen through a Sneakersnstuff collaboration about this time last year, the Samba JP gives retro soccer boot vibes with curved stitching over the toe (as opposed to the standard t-toe overlay). An extra panel adds protection around the heel, complemented by a new, smooth leather backtab. The tongue is also tweaked, taken with embossed horizontal lines and an oversized Trefoil logo.
