Matt Varga It was already primed to be an interesting off-season for the Memphis Grizzlies, but a mid-Finals trade sending Desmond Bane to the Orlando Magic added that much more intrigue for Ja Morant’s squad. Regardless of who he finds himself next for the 2025-26 season, the multi-time All-Star remains one of the sport’s biggest stars off the court, something that the Swoosh is aiming to tap into with a non-hoops collection: the Ja Morant x Nike Air Force 1 capsule.
Leaked in part by Morant himself and in part by more traditional early info sources, four distinct pairs of the AF1 bearing #12’s brand are queued up from Fall ’25 to Spring ’26. Of the four, two have already been revealed with in-hand shots, the first being a bejeweled all-black Swarovski link-up, aligning with Ja’s tradition of “Midnight” releases. In the superstar’s preliminary shots, the flashy touches overtake the Swoosh and a hangtag bearing Morant’s logo.
From there, the two partners set up a “Sundial/Black” variation, relying largely on the timeless appeal of the silhouette but importantly including a double-ply Swoosh with a glossy patent top layer, and a couplet of Ja brands towards the heel, including both his logo and the rear detailing seen on his basketball line.
Two additional pairs, a “Black/Cobalt Bliss/White” for Fall 2025, and a denim “Light Armory Blue/White/Metallic Silver” remain unseen at the time of this writing.
