Andrew Reynolds’ New Balance 933 Takes On “Dark Olivine”

Rolling on following an attention-grabbing debut.

Andrew Reynolds’ New Balance 933 Takes On “Dark Olivine”

Merging 990x design language and skate shoe composition, Andrew Reynolds’ New Balance 933 has been one of the surprise hits of 2025, threading the needle in exciting both fanbases it attempted to take root in. Following successful launches for its inaugural duo and a follow-up “Grey Days” look, a “Dark Olivine” New Balance 933 previously teased in the silhouette’s earliest days is touching down on June 23rd.

Delivering the suede and mesh build that the shoe has entirely stuck to so far,  again the neutral shaded hallmarks of New Balance design shine through with this pair. Complementary hits of “Olivine” and “Dark Olivine” take up most of the space here, with a swatch of off-white overtaking the eye-stays for a faux-gradient as you work top to bottom. The same can be said of the midsole, stopping at light grey and dark grey towards the heel.

Following a release cadence that Nike SB fanatics will be familiar with, the shoe is already up for grabs at partnering skate outlets, so check in to your locals if you can’t wait to pick up yours. Otherwise, the New Balance 933 “Dark Olivine” hits NewBalance.com on June 23rd, retailing for $130.
