The GEL-Nimbus 10.1 Continues Its Rise In The ASICS Catalog

For years now, the GEL-Kayano 14 has been ASICS’ hottest product, a driver of the Y2K aesthetic and an unavoidable sight on the feet of trendy dressers. All of a sudden, it appears that the well-established tech runner might have some in-house competition, as the ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 begins to crest with mainline and collaborative editions.

First making a splash with an extremely limited Stefon Diggs capsule, ASICS rode its momentum into a strong 2025 push, utilized for arguably the brand’s biggest collabs this year: the VandyThePink duo and KITH Summer 2025 collection. Though it’s been at the ready in mainline applications for a few seasons, the renewed energy those link-ups have fostered provides a golden opportunity for ASICS to double down on the GEL-Nimbus 10.1.

For those who were unable to get their hands on those, now a mainline effort for the silhouette starts to truly get off the ground, kicked off with a “White/Pure Silver” that continues the throwback aesthetics we see so often in the Japanese giant’s work. Particularly effective on this shoe is the off-color sole unit, delivering a faux-vintage punch with darkened GEL units, and the silver overlays, highlighting the quilted leather hallmark that helps set the Nimbus apart from its peers.

The ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 “White/Pure Silver” has already started populating global ASICS sites, a signal that a stateside launch isn’t too far behind. Be ready for a $160 retail price upon arrival.
