Matt Varga Inter Miami may not be on the league-leading pace they cruised to in 2024, but the squad remains in the thick of playoff contention largely on the backs of their all-timer duo of Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi. The (arguable) GOAT’s descent onto South Beach brought a ton more eyes to MLS as a whole, and as the chief sponsor of both the squad and league, adidas has capitalized plenty on that increased profile.
Nearly all of the brand’s spree of Messi-centric releases have centered on their stable of “terrace icons,” spread across the adidas Samba, and in a particularly notable stop, the adidas Gazelle Indoor. For this latest station, instead we look to the shell toe, outfitting the adidas Superstar in two contrasting yet equally tropical editions of the totemic silhouette.
One takes to the tones of the “Euforia” kit, plastering pink leather atop a translucent gum bottom. Its counterpart fittingly looks to the 2025 Third Kit, an aquatic set that lends its shading to the Three Stripes and various trim aspects, affixed to a sandy “Cream White” foundation. Either colorways closes with a debossed Messi logo on the heel that’s mirrored on the tongue, clad in resplendent gold as if to fully drill down the hallowed air at play.
The Lionel Messi x adidas Superstar is available in both looks via adidas.com, commanding $110 price tags. Hit the “Where To Buy” links below to grab yours.
