adidas continues to beat the drum of their basketball classics, an endeavor illustrated by far-reaching bring-backs like Jabbar High or relatively newer propositions like the Y2K-steeped Crazy 2. Previously best known for its influence over the Yeezy line, the adidas Intimidation Low is very much a factor in that group, marching on in its renewed push with two fresh mainline colorways.

Rather than the aughts-era sporty colorways that defined the model’s early re-entry, the two on tap deliver far more subtle fare, executing colorways that’ll certainly raise the eyebrows of those who see Ye’s fingerprints in the current adidas catalog. To that end, either pair is united by contrast cages atop monochromatic bases. The darkened edition tops its nocturnal foundation with similarly moody “Maroon,” while its lighter counterpart builds “Earth Strata” atop already earthy “Wonder White.”
