ASICS Revisits “Pink Glo” On The GEL-1130

For whatever reason, any “Pink Glo” ASICS sneaker is pretty much a lock to sell out. The Japanese sportswear brand brought the bright neon color to the GEL-Kayano 14 in 2023 and then GEL-1130 earlier this year; both of which flew off shelves and now command significant markups on aftermarket platforms. So if it ain’t broke, why fix it? In revisiting its winning formula, ASICS is coming out with another “Pink Glo” GEL-1130 on July 20th.

While previous “Pink Glo” ASICS have paired the neon hue with white and silver treatments, this latest pair opts for black as its main secondary color. The end result is an even more attention-grabbing, higher contrast look reminiscent of CDG’s Nike Air 180 from 2018. Titular “Pink Glo” appears on the base, outsole, and quarter detailing, while the lining and midsole come in black. Silver hits appear on the tongue, midfoot plate, and overlays in tandem with black treatments, although they’re not necessarily a focal point here.

The ASICS GEL-1130 “Pink Glo/Black” release via Champs on July 20th, potentially as a retailer exclusive. Expect women’s sizes and a $110 MSRP if you’re considering copping.
