Three different sneakers are on tap, led by a blue “Obsidian” colorway dropping exclusively through Levi’s on July 10th (no exact time has been announced). Then come black and “Light Orewood Brown” colorways on July 11th, both of which will be available via Nike SNKRS and retailers. While it’s far too early to crown the best collaboration of 2025, the Levi’s x Air Max 95 pack makes one of the strongest cases we’ve seen thus far. An iconic American denim brand meets a thriving Air Max model currently in the midst of its 30th anniversary… what else is there to say? The project marks the first Levi’s x Nike collaboration since 2019, with the two parties convening on high and low-top Air Force 1s that year (and Nike By You Air Max 90s). Prior to that, Levi’s released a set of Nike SB Dunk Lows in 2012. The denim brand’s first ever Nike Inc. collaboration consisted of an Air Jordan 1 bundled with 501 jeans in 2008, which the Jumpman then followed with a Jordan 4 trio a decade later.
Just like that Jordan 4 capsule, the Levi’s Air Max 95 pack consists of black, “Obsidian,” and “Light Orewood Brown” denim colorways. The Levi’s-exclusive “Obsidian” lends a slight sashiko aesthetic with white stitching, while its counterparts feature stitching that matches their denim. Red Levi’s tags appear on the lateral side of each right shoe, complemented by more red branding on the insoles and visible Air portion of the outsole. Unlike the friends & family Levi’s 95s, all three public colorways feature clear big bubble Air units.
