Patta’s Nike Air Max DN8 Collaboration Comes Laced With A Carabiner

Updated August 22nd, 2025 European retailers have started updating their listings for the Patta x Nike Air Max DN8, granting us our most complete look at the shoe to date. The Amsterdam imprint arguably brings the most transformative touch to the 8 chamber model we’ve seen to date; switching the usual sleek mesh uppers into a layered layout where patent leather overlays give way to grey mesh underneath. A step-down gradient takes the midsole from white to black on the midsole, a new cut-out toe-box design dominates the forefoot, and an S-ring latches onto the laces. The usual suite of co-branding details rounds out this black/blue/grey edition.

As of this writing, the Nike x Patta Air Max DN8 is expected to hit European channels on September 1st, retailing for €200. Stateside details are yet to surface.

RETAIL PRICE: $N/A
RELEASE DATE: Sep 1, 2025

After checking off a two-part Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” collaboration, Amsterdam streetwear brand Patta is taking its talents to the Air Max DN8. Co-founder Edson Sabajo (@edsonbarbapapa) just took to Instagram with a first look at one of potentially four colorways releasing in 2025.

To start, the sneaker is given a key hardware change with a new leather toe box. Black patent leather replaces the model’s usual mesh material, save for white cutouts that line up with the hollowed-out areas of the midsole. Royal blue lace loops break from the otherwise black/white colorway, and it appears the sneaker comes with a silver s-biner accessory. Finally, Patta’s script logo appears in white over the tongue.

We’ve uncovered four different SKUs for the Patta x Air Max DN8, meaning it’s possible (if not likely) this black/white colorway is part of a larger collection. No release info has been made public at this stage, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear more. Expect an MSRP of $230.
