Arrow & Beast Brings Quilted Uppers To adidas Superstar Collab

Arrow & Beast Brings Quilted Uppers To adidas Superstar Collab

More than ever, skateboarding is a global sport, demonstrated in no small part by its adoption at the Olympic games in 2020, 2024, and looking ahead, in 2028. We’ve seen the various SB arms of all manner of footwear brands embrace their namesake’s international adoption, again at the fore as adidas links up with Parisian skate retailer Arrow & Beast for a Superstar ADV collaboration.

As we’ve noted on countless previous occasions, the Three Stripes is putting their full weight behind the shell toe as 2025 continues on, but this speaks to the creative ways in which they’ve deployed the silhouette. Tacking extra padding, hardened reinforcement in high-abrasion areas, and a flexible cupsole onto the base model, the Superstar ADV embraces a synthetic woven upper for this application, criss-crossing from toe to toe.

The narrative aspect of this shoe comes into play with the color palettes displayed here. Though born in Germany, Arrow & Beast now boasts two retail flagships, thus each arm of their operation gets one edition. The sandstone foundation of their Stuttgart location inspires the “Sandstone” pair, while its duskier counterpart pays homage to Parisian architecture and the city’s vibrant nighttime scenes with its navy and black overtones.

The Arrow & Beast x adidas Superstar in both colorways featured here releases on July 19th, clocking in at $110 for either edition. Catch official images included below and keep the attached “Where To Buy” sections close by for direct pick-up links upon arrival.
