The KITH New Balance 204L Is Available Now

Helping tee off the low-pro debutant.

The KITH New Balance 204L Is Available Now

Updated July 18th, 2025: The KITH x New Balance 204L is available now HERE directly from Kith. PlantShed will be gifting in-person purchasers a corresponding bouquet, with the activation exclusive to KITH Women from July 18th to 20th. Retail remains at $130 for all three colorways.

The footwear universe has an interesting sense of timing. It only took a few days after our final claim that New Balance hadn’t truly entered the slim-sole space for the brand to roll out an “all systems go” effort behind the New Balance 204L, creating palpable buzz around the fresh tech runner at Paris Fashion Week and with a run of inline colorways closer on the schedule. Despite those two promo prongs, it’s actually a link-up with a familiar face that’ll debut the silhouette, as the KITH New Balance 204L collection nears release on July 18th.

Outfitted in three separate summery colorways, the silhouette threads the needle between following industry trends and still maintaining the brand’s distinct design language. To whit, the sole unit is far thinner than what you’ll spot on the brands otherwise sturdy stable of tech runners, yet the curvilinear overlays and a mesh foundation still carries echoes of well-recieved peers like the New Balance 530.

The NYC imprint is largely following their own release conventions for the debut of the KITH New Balance 204L, dropping at the brand’s various in-store locations, via an app drawing, and on their flagship site on July 18th. However, for those seeking a bit more of an experiential release, PlantShed will be hosting a special installation at Manhattan’s KITH Women store from July 18th to 20th. Any purchase of the KITH New Balance 204L will come with a special floral bouquet tailored to the colorway you pick up. Across all of these channels, retail is set at $130 a piece.
