So inspired.

The Charli XCX Converse By You Program Will Only Last Three Days

Charli XCX experienced a genuinely meteoric rise in 2024, going from an “IFYKYK” art pop star to one of the most recognizable faces in the music world, all on the back of her now award-winning album BRAT. Already sporting a roster of A-list artist endorsees, Converse scooped up the “Apple” singer in the closing quarter of the year. We’re finally seeing the results of that partnership, as Converse and Charli XCX tee up a “By You” collection coming available on August 5th.

When news of the Converse x Charli XCX partnership first broke, the Grammy winner noted “I wear my Chucks so much they have holes in them.” It’s that piece of the UK singer’s personal style that lights this collaboration, centered around graphic distressed prints (read: not actual rips and tears) on the upper of the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star. Charli offers up five distinct colorways, in white, black, “brown rice,” muted pink, and pale blue, each carrying hand-varnished midsole detailing.

Buyers will have the choice between three XCX-centric lateral badges, either sporting “365,” “XCX,” or “angel” text, and the same set on the the rear heel “license plate.” On the outsole, your pair will either sport “BRAT” or “Party Girl” spell-out text across each shoe, while every one comes with alternating lock and keys attached the rear pull tabs. Finally, the insoles are where you’ll be able to get your dose of brat green if you decide against the off-white default.

The Charli XCX Converse By You program opens on August 5th in the United States and Western Europe, with retail pricing in the former region set at $100. Pre-built versions will go live in Australia and Mexico around the same time. Do note that Converse warns the styles will only be available for three days, so act quick once checkout is open. For now, you can pre-build your style using the link HERE.
