Andrew Rizzo Autumn is still months away, but the change of seasons is already being felt over in Beaverton. On top of an “Autumn Leaves” Air Force 1 and similarly-shaded Air Max 90, the Nike Shox R4 has now surfaced in a Halloween-esque “Bright Ceramic” flavor that is all too familiar that time of year.
The color blocking scheme used here is a familiar one; the titular “Bright Ceramic” hue appears over the sidewalls, giving pumpkin spice energy that’ll permeate everything from scented candles and flavored beverages. The tongue, toe cap, and rest of the upper portion appear in black, and while we’re used to seeing the Shox R4 highlight its cushioning with bright colors, these go a more low-key route with “Metallic Dark Grey” pillars under the heel.
