adidas has crafted three Bad Bunny Gazelles in celebration of the pop megastar’s “No me quiero ir de aquí” residency in Puerto Rico, including a pink colorway dubbed “Cabo Rojo” (translated to Red Cape) for the name of a town on the island. More specifically, Cabo Rojo is known for its famous pink salt flats and pink waters, which are caused by microorganisms. The sneaker features the same core design as all Bad Bunny Gazelles thus far, complete with a double tongue, altered suede toe overlay, and puffy, skate-inspired collar.
The other two members of Bad Bunny’s Gazelle City Series – the “El Yunque” and “Santurce” – released exclusively at the opening of “No me quiero ir de aquí” earlier this month. As of this writing, there don’t appear to be any plans for a global drop.
