In the next chapter of “Dynamic Air,” Nike is changing up the script. After the Nike Air Max Dn largely spent its introductory year checking off mainline looks that slowly advanced the silhouette further, the Swoosh appears to be taking a far more expedited approach with its sequel. As Cav Empt revs up their Fall/Winter 2025 collection, the Japanese imprint is the latest to take on the Nike Air Max DN8, debuting three looks with signature Cav Empt touches.

Teased in lookbook images a la a Supreme collaboration, the Cav Empt x Nike Air Max DN8 harkens back to the companies’ first join-up effort, borrowing the abstract, digi camo print that fans first took in for their two-headed Air Max 95 capsule. The fashion label one ups that previous work, tacking a third edition onto its 2025 counterpart. That manifests with two neutral, monochromatic editions in black and grey, on which the pattern sinks into the overall profile. The third is where the collection really makes a strong first impression, harkening to ’90s vibrant tonality in a white/aqua/purple split.

This link-up comes on the heels of two newly announced collabs in the PSG Air Max DN8 and Patta Air Max DN8. Stretching a bit further back, Better Gift Shop earned the earnest first swing on the 8-chamber shoe, while looking ahead, the Palace x Nike relationship is still expected to begin with the buoyant sneaker.

Concrete info for the Cav Empt x Nike Air Max DN8 likely isn’t too far behind, but for now, these shots are largely the extent of what we know. Catch the aforementioned lookbook images included below and watch our coverage in the coming weeks for any updates.
