The Nike KD 18 “Aunt Pearl” Releases On October 7th

The longest-running franchise in Nike Basketball continues with Kevin Durant’s signature line. The spirit of the lovely Aunt Pearl continues to follow the Nike KD legacy into the eighteenth model as the decorative design appears once more on Slim’s signature model.

A first look at the Nike KD 18 “Aunt Pearl” has been revealed via official retailer images. Like the previous iterations of the KD “Aunt Pearl” series that began way back with the KD 4, the KD 18 “Aunt Pearl” is blessed with a pattern of flowers on the exterior cage-like mid-foot piece that doubles as lace eyelets. The same rosy print appears on the interior sockliners, while a speckling of hot pink appears against the lighter shade on the midsoles.

A soothing coconut milk off-white tone also adds a touch of elegance, appearing on the KD logo on the tongue, the Swoosh at the heel, and flooding the translucent gum bottoms beneath. The full color specs are: Pearl Pink/Laser Fuchsia/Tulip Pink/Playful Pink/Pink Foam/Glacier Blue.

The next chapter of the storied Aunt Pearl series is expected to launch on October 17th for $170; see the first look images below and stay tuned for firmer release updates.
