The 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 5 has been a hot topic from the get-go, with the “Black Metallic Reimagineds” from February charting a promising direction for the rest of the Jordan Release Dates 2025 calendar. Between collaborations with names like Awake NY and retros like the impending “Fire Red” 5s are a smattering of all-new colorways, one being a “Luminous Green” women’s-exclusive coming later this month. Official images from Nike’s backend server sourced by @EldenMonitors give us a first look.
Differing from the speculative mockup that made rounds online last November, the sneaker features a full “Luminous Green” leather upper and key hardware change with perforated leather around the quarter (as opposed to TPU). We’re also hit with stitched “23” text on the heel, which is almost invisible in the same light pastel shade, matched by more “Luminous Green” on the laces and tongue Jumpman logos. Underfoot, a black midsole featuring green shark teeth rounds out the delivery.
The Air Jordan 5 “Luminous Green” is currently expected to release August 30th exclusively in women’s sizing. Pairs will be available via Nike SNKRS and participating Jordan Brand retailers; see first look images below and stay tuned for further updates.
