Andrew Rizzo The 1906R has been one of New Balance’s most-produced models for a few years running now, but a deep well of different color blocking schemes, material compositions, and other unique identifiers has managed to keep the tech runner feeling fresh since returning in 2022. Showing no signs of slowing down, the model is adding to its strong catalog of GR colorways with a compelling “Vintage Indigo” look for Fall 2025.
The titular hue sets the tone over a mesh base layer, followed by “Silver Metallic” leather overlays. The real separator comes through cream-colored “Angora” hits on the tongue, midsole, and TPU heel counter, clashing the model’s underlying Y2K aesthetic with a neo-vintage sort of vibe.
