Matt Varga Updated September 10th, 2025: Liam and Noel Gallagher of Oasis have another adidas SPZL capsule dropping exclusively in Japan on September 24th. Liam’s Achille SPZL returns in a “Burgundy/Brown/Tan” colorway, while Noel’s Marathon SPZL shifts into “Core Black/Red/Footwear White.”

The conventional understanding of the rock band usually includes strife, woven in between and often as a direct result of the glitz and glamour. Few acts have had a rockier history than Oasis, one of many facets that make their current reunion tour such a monumental event. In typical fashion, there’s been conflicting reports regarding whether this is the true “last dance” for the legendary British outfit. The Three Stripes has erred on the side of caution, already placing the band in focus with a rangy Oasis x adidas apparel collection.
At last, Oasis comes across our desk as two adidas SPZL releases come to light. Up top, we should note that despite this being the first team-up with both brothers, either one tapped into their long-standing ties to adidas and Britpop fashion during their extended hiatus, with Noel Gallagher earning the adidas SPZL Garwen in 2017, while Liam staked out three releases from 2019 to 2023.
For his half, Noel utilizes the body and overall silhouette of the Marathon, a 1980s design, but pins an aquatic navy colorway and a remodeled T-toe on the archival design. Interestingly enough, that same palette is an OG look from the adidas Achille largely unchanged from its catalog appearance, beige and brown colorway and all. Either shoe closes out with a heavy dose of co-branding, taking over the insoles and tapping into the adidas icon heritage by pinning vectorized versions of their faces on the tongues.
The Oasis x adidas SPZL collection is listed via overseas retailers for an August 16th release. Note that the apparel collection has already touched down in the UK without concrete word of a stateside drop, so US fans may be waiting a bit longer to get their hands on this collab.
