Jay Chou Teases PHANTACI x Nike Air Max 95 Collaboration

Once again channeling his passion for music, the influential Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou has revealed an upcoming collaboration with Nike and the Air Max 95, a silhouette that has once again won the hearts of the global sneaker community through collabs and coveted OG re-issues.

Although a few sharp teasers are revealed, there’s enough to suggest a guitar-inspired theme with the design concept. The most obvious call-out is the PHANTACI branded guitar pick charm, connected by a short silver chain to the shoe-laces. Matching the pearloid finish on the strumming tool is a Jay Chou logo accessory on the tongue, which also features a dark brown tortoise-shell finish to mimic the original emblem of the Air Max 95. Grey leather uppers are also revealed, while the uppermost ridge of the gradient design features a unique mesh-like surface overlay.

Like the “Grand Piano” concept that was executed on their Air Max 1, this Jay Chou x PHANTACI x Air Max 95 keeps to musical themes as a nod to Chou’s outstanding career and reputation as the “King of MandoPop”.

Currently, release date information is not known, so stay tuned for more teasers.
