Social Status Launches Exclusive ASICS GEL-1130 With A Wellness Challenge

James Whitner’s retail chain Social Status is releasing an exclusive ASICS GEL-1130 on August 22nd – but there’s a twist. Rather than enter the EQL raffle, interested consumers can try their luck at getting a free pair by completing a 10-day wellness challenge.

As outlined in the embedded IG post below, Social Status is seeding pairs to a select number of fans who complete daily movement and mindfulness prompts. Only those who complete all ten challenges will be entered, so you might want to set reminders if you’re the forgetful type.

The sneaker itself is fairly plain and simple. Black, red, and “Smoke Grey/Pure Silver” overlays wrap a cream-colored mesh base, while a white midsole featuring red accents lands underfoot. The real point of appeal here lies in the wellness challenge, yet another community-minded effort by the hands of a James Whitner brand.

The Social Status retailer-exclusive ASICS GEL-1130 releases August 22nd for $100; enter the EQL raffle below if you’re committed to copping.
