The pack strategy is something we’ve seen executed at length by New Balance’s “Made In USA/UK” lines in the past year or so, and it appears we’re on the precipice of another strong wave. The New Balance 993, a near-constant focus of collabs and GRs alike, is the subject of a Black + [Enter Accent Color Here] pack for Fall/Winter 2025. Following images of a “Black/Pink” 993 the other day, we’ve uncovered a fresh blue colorway of the same vein.
Dedicated New Balance followers are sure to be reminded of the 991v2 “City Pack” that released last year. The 993s on tap follow the same general design formula, complete with black mesh, grey underlays, and colorful, premium suede overlays. This newly-uncovered colorway has been dubbed “Community Blue” on the ‘net so far; a name that ties in with a recent New Balance 990v6 pack. Where there’s smoke there’s fire, so we’re expecting at least one more New Balance 993 of this variety to surface before long (New Balance packs usually come in threes).
The New Balance 993 “Community Blue” is already available in select countries overseas, so we’re expecting pairs to drop globally in the near future. This is a general release sneaker and will be available via newbalance.com and retailers, priced at $200.
Sticking with the Boston brand, the New Balance 204L just dropped in a “Timberwolf” colorway.
