The Nike Ja 3 Is Already Gearing Up For “Christmas”

The conventional wisdom is that it’s never too early to start thinking about the holidays. As we sit here in August, we’re comfortable saying that it really would be, but Nike’s far-ahead planning schedule means that they’re already checking their lists. The Nike Ja 3 “Christmas” has just appeared, wearing a hi-vis twist on classic end-of-year hues.

Clausian colorways have been a part of every Ja signature shoe to date, so it’s no surprise that the third step is thinking the same. However, the Ja 3 offers up the most traditional embrace of “Christmas” yet, bucking the purple overtones from 2023 and the silvery “Tree Tropper” from 2024. A spicy gradient across the graphic layers offers a novel twist on classic red and green, while a snow white mesh base models these after wintery weather. A hit of jet black on the Swoosh and ZoomX test closes things out, at least from what we can tell — no included angles of the insole or tongue could mean that additional Christmastime imagery factors into this pair.

What these shots do confirm is that the Nike Ja 3 “Christmas” will touch down in full family sizing, spread across men’s ($140), GS ($115), and PS ($110.) This shoe is currently circled for a December 26th date.
