Andrew Rizzo Calling all ’90s kids; Reebok is celebrating the 30th anniversary of rom-com cult favorite Clueless (1995) with a women’s footwear collection on August 29th.
Here we have two sneakers inspired by some of the outfits worn by the movie’s characters. Delivering ’90s nostalgia for days, the platformed Reebok Campio Extra steals the show with a design inspired by Cher and Dionne’s plaid outfits. A black and white pattern appears on the toe and heel, while green/blue fabric featuring pink detailing dominates the quarter.
The Club C 85 is the other model of choice, taken with the same underlying inspiration but a more versatile, low-key aesthetic with a natural textile upper. Three different plaid lace options are included alongside a pearl lace lock and pink pom-pom accessory reminiscent of Cher’s fluffy pen. A leopard print pattern appears on the sock liner, while the Clueless logo appears in pink on the heel.
