Andrew Rizzo Move over ReactX Rejuvin8, there’s a new kind of Nike croc in town. For Fall/Winter 2025, Nike is giving the Air Force 1 a luxe makeover anchored by a full “Fauna Brown” crocodile skin upper.
Straight out of the “grandpa shoe” playbook, the Beaverton street staple here gets totally reimagined through the lens of a loafer you might find at Sunday Service. On top of the key reptilian texture swap, the midsole is also given an added layer of “Underbrush” leather over the rubber, creeping up toward the base in the form of welting. Nike experimented with a similar style in the 2000s, notably with a special release for the AF1’s 25th anniversary in ‘07.
